Formerly a lavish tourist resort known as the Springs Hotel, the site fell into disrepair in the latter part of the 20th century and has since become a target for vandalization and abuse. Haastown Developments has purchased Preston Springs and adjacent properties with a vision to develop the property with a modern assembly of residential spaces, while respecting the site’s heritage and natural mineral springs.
The team at Haastown is currently working with the community, City of Cambridge, and Region of Waterloo to pursue plans to restore this iconic Ontario property and destination and once again create the catalyst essential for the revitalization of the City of Preston.
